Rick will be announcing the winners of the national Spread the Net student challenge and rumour has it that SFU has won!
In September 2009, Rick Mercer was here to launch the Spread the Net campaign and issued a challenge pitting West vs. East in the national student challenge. Funds raised provide insecticide-treated bed nets to children in Liberia or Rwanda. The top fundraising school in the West and in the East will each receive a personal visit from Mercer and be featured on his television show.
