inov8.ca is SFU's new initiative to get students, alumni, community members, faculty, staff, friends and associates discussing and solving the social problems that affect and interest us.

Most of you are already actively involved in groups that address social issues. inov8.ca hopes to be the place where you meet with other people who are also socially involved, to share learning and passions, and put into action the ideas you've already come up, or that have started to form through your current conversations.

Some of you, on the other hand, are passionate about social problems, but don't really know where to start to get involved.

We want to make inov8.ca a place where you feel comfortable to discuss and develop ideas around social change, irrespective of your background.

Please tell us the things you want and need to join the inov8.ca community to engage in social innovation.
